Roadtrip 2022 Spring: Seaside - Bend - Boise - Park City - Grand Junction - Park City - Boise - Richland

Day 26 - Rabbit Valley, The Trail Through Time

We decide to take a backroad (Old Hwy 6) to Rabbit Valley and are rewarded with a viewing of these gorgeous pronghorns.

Shifty patterns in the grass are due to 3 distinct colours of green, purple and white, in addition to the blowing winds. Who thought grass could be so versatile? Freeman you would love it here!

The uniquely 21st century pose-with-a-phone.

I swear this incredible desert flower must be related to the tulip. And there are fields of them everywhere here in the Rabbit Valley.

Squint a bit and stare at the horizontal centre portion of this picture. If you don't go blind, you'll maybe see three (or maybe four) neck vertebrae of a Jurassic Camarasaurus. I'm not making this up. Really.

The gate must remain closed - we can't let the dinosaurs escape.

The Team pauses, looking for further dinosaurs.

More "tulips". They come in two distinct shades of white and pink.
